Mr Peter KY Wong is the Managing Director of Unifiber. He started his career in 1987 by working as an Interior Designer at Network Interior Design Sdn Bhd. In 1989, he joined Sunway Design Sdn Bhd as an Interior Designer where his responsibilities involved space and concept planning, design development, material selection, project execution and reporting. Due to excellent performance, he was then promoted to Senior Studio Manager to take part in the design, theming, planning and execution of a series of Sunway Group’s wide projects, located both in Malaysia and overseas.
In 2003, he incorporated Unifiber to further expand the fiberglass business that was established by his late father since 1977.
Yong Geok Loong
Director of UCT Imagineering Sdn Bhd
Mr GL Yong is the Director of UCT Imagineering Sdn Bhd, the project execution arm for Unifiber. He started working in 1983 as an apprentice in an interior renovation company to gain knowledge and skills in interior design. Due to the desire of learning, he left the company after 4 years to join another company which provides showcase and festive decoration for shopping malls and complexes.
With the past years’ experience and exposure, he set up a company called “Green Phantom Sdn Bhd” in 2003 which provides services in the field of art direction, theme finishing, design detailing, moulding and casting, sculpturing and etc.
Together with other renowned companies, Mr GL Yong involved in many large-scale projects notably, Disney Land, Lantau Island, Hong Kong, Disneyland Shanghai, China, Universal Studio, Sentosa Island, Singapore, Zoological Garden, Singapore, Chimelong Waterpark, Zhuhai, Guangdong, China, Chimelong Water Park, Panyu, Guangzhou China, to name a few.
